Office Policies

We want you to enjoy visiting our office as much as we enjoy having your child as a patient!

Therefore, we don't ask for much just that parents, patients and/or guardians:

  • Respect reserved appointment times by keeping them.  Please note, we kindly request a 48-hour notice to change the appointment.  Otherwise we reserve the right to apply a $50 short notice cancellation fee.  If there is a no-show, we reserve the right to apply a $100 no-show fee.
  • Arrive on time for appointments.  We don't want to inconvenience punctual patients.  Therefore we may not be able to accommodate patients who are more than 10 minutes late.
  • Ensure the responsible party, parent or legal guardian, of the patient is present.  If not, a written permission is needed for the patient's chaperone to approve treatment decisions.  This person will also be responsible for all appointment-related charges.
  • Keep our office updated with any changes to your family's pertinent information such as contact information, insurance coverage and medical history updates.
  • Remain in our office during your child's appointment.  We encourage you to accompany your child to the clinical area during his or her appointments, if you choose.
  • Avoid over-preparing your child for their dental visit.  Too much information can cause unnecessary anxiety for your child.
  • Use child-friendly language when talking to your child about dentistry.
